The team has no tryouts so turning in your Track forms on time and on the due date is critical. Once I have your paper work you are on the team. A running base is suggested to avoid any unnecessary injuries as well as a good pair of RUNNING shoes as indicated in the team Guidelines, please go over them.
Outdoor track Pre-sesaon workout: To be done by ALL (new and returning) interested in being part of the team. Those still in Indoor track competiton are excluded.
We practice every day Monday-Friday 3:15-5:15ish
We will also practice some Saturdays (See team schedule)
Regular season meets take place either Wednesdays (See team schedule)
Invitationals take place Saturdays and some time Friday and Saturdays (See team schedule)
Requirements: Trainer must have a current VHSL Physical on file, a copy of your Emergency care card and the student/parent concussion must be done before February 27th. Track team forms WILL NOT be collected on Feb 27th if the above mentioned Items are not in the pocession of the trainer.
Jan 30th: Outdoor track Interest meeting room H 113 at 3:00 PM Feb 2nd: Team Uniform store opens, store closes March 1st Feb 2nd: Team Gear store opens, store closes March 1st Feb. 27th - Must attend Team Guideline meeting and paper work turn in (TRACK forms will not be collected if school physical, parent/athlete concussion and copy of Emergency care card are on file with our school trainer)
Monday March 2nd - First Day of practice starting at 3:15 PM out on the track
